It has been a long time since I've posted here! I was studying hard during the sping semester. I even mustered up some funds to take a summer course. A fiction class with Dr. Dene Grigar. I am enjoying it, although we had to bid for an american novel, and I was cheated out of a great book, and instead given "The Great Gatsby". Not to discredit Mr. Fitzgerald, but..come on...Invisable Man by Ralph Ellison or Great Gatsby, which would YOU rather read.

I've also been holding down a pretty descent job with the university housing department. I worked my butt off all summer, for only $7.27/hr. I swear, for a university, these people are really not fair about how much they pay the hard working students. Fortunately, I've met some really great people, and I have developed some friendships that I hope will last a life time. Plus, I had no where to go for the summer, and the job gave us free room and board. I have been working hard, so I can remain in school for the Fall semester. I hope that I will have enough money to keep my private room. And hopefully, if it is the Lord's will, I can get an apartment in December, I know someone who is graduating, and I hope to get into his place.
