Well, I see you came back for the semi-annual update. I've finished another semester, and have been recently notified that with only three more semesters, I will have earned my BA in English. I know some of you are saying, what happened to Bilingual Education? I changed my mind, women are prone to do that you know! Really, I found out that I can graduate sooner with an English degree. I'm still taking Spanish courses because you must have 12 Foriegn Language hours with an English Degree. I still plan to teach but on a higher level. So, I've decided that English will be my focus, and Spanish will be my sub-focus. I will not minor in Spanish, instead I am minoring in Ethnic Studies.

Well, you know that apartment I was praying for last year? Well, it's finally going to be mine!! I have an anticipated move date of June 1st. But I will move whenever they give me the key! I've landed a great job with the university food service company. You may have heard of ARAMARK. I am a marketing associate working part-time. I love the job, and I love the people I work with. It's a great opportunity for me, and I am so blessed. School is going well for me, I've managed to move my grade point average up 0.6 points since I've returned to school. Which some of you know, is a hard task. I am praying that I can make it another 0.9 before I leave this university.

As far as my new year's resolutions are coming along. I've managed to keep up with two out of the three. I'm still working on this weight thing, and I know that major changes in my lifestyle is the only real resolution. So pray for me to make those changes. I don't have much to update right now, but come back in about three months, I will try to add more information as time passes on.
